Supervisor
Where you will be working:
Bear Town is an indoor role play centre in Southend on Sea, SS4 1LQ. At Bear Town young children can try a host of “grown up” jobs, from vets, mechanics, firefighters and hairdressers. There are no limits on imagination. Children will be encouraged to let their imagination run wild and be who they want to be, encouraging children to ‘Learn Through Play’. All team members must be keen to encourage play and show bags of enthusiasm.
Bear Town has an amazing onsite café where visitors can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks including freshly ground coffee, homemade cakes, snacks and delicious locally sourced meals during their visit.

Job Role:
The role will mainly involve leading and assisting the Team Members for the day-to-day running of Bear Town, responsible for ensuring the Town and is run correctly and supporting the manager. This will include a variety of requirements and the candidate will be expected to be able to adapt to the different roles. The supervisor will be ensuring the team members are manning the reception, focusing on the visitor experience and ensuring visitors are enjoying a superior time and engaging with parents/ carer's and children. The management are keen to find staff members who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, mixed with knowledge in early years education. Therefore, this will be an exciting role with development opportunities as we grow.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Providing an exceptional visitor experience
2. Managing a team to achieve the key objectives of the business
3. Managing team training and development
4. Brand aware
5. Health and Safety responsibilities
6. Daily/weekly inspections of the Town
7. Overseeing daily procedures are adhered to
8. Ensuring all areas are kept to a high standard
9. First Aider
10. Key holder
11. Other tasks to aid with the smooth running of the Town.
Salary:
£13/hr
