Sub-Contractors for Canopy Installation
We are seeking hard-working and reliable subcontractors to assist our team with the installation of steel canopy systems on a project-by-project basis.
You’ll carry out the installation of various canopy systems such as fixed canopies, cantilever canopies and shade structures, primarily on school and commercial sites across the UK. Most projects take place during school holidays and other peak seasonal periods.
A typical project includes:
- Groundworks and Foundation Setting
- Steel Canopy Frame Erection (basic construction and assembly skills)
- Roofing with Glazing and Polycarbonate Sheets
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of canopy systems to a high standard
- Working on-site as part of a team or independently
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Following site-specific instructions and project timelines
- Keep the site clean and tidy
- Represent the company professionally, maintaining strong client relationships
- Adapt to variable hours depending on project needs or site access requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Valid UK driving license and own transport
- Good physical fitness and manual handling ability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Good communication skills and follow clear instructions
- A proactive and professional approach to site work, with good attention to detail
Desirable Extras (but not essential):
- Valid DBS Certificate
