Position Summary
We are seeking a confident and motivated Residential Solar Sales Representative to join our expanding team. You’ll be the face of Solar Maintenance Solutions—educating homeowners, building trust, and guiding them through their journey to solar energy. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a purpose-driven company and earn uncapped commissions in a booming industry.
Key Responsibilities
This is not a cold-calling or door-to-door sales role. You’ll be based in the office, working with qualified warm leads and attending pre-arranged appointments in customers’ homes — all organised and booked by our in-house team.
- Conduct in-person or virtual consultations with prospective customers
- Present custom solar solutions based on household energy usage and needs
- Clearly explain financial savings, environmental impact, and solar incentives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships from first contact to installation
- Prepare professional proposals using company tools and resources
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators
- Stay informed on industry trends, local incentives, and solar technology
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of proven residential solar sales experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable presenting and negotiating with homeowners
- Driven, self-motivated, and highly organised
- Tech-savvy and familiar with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot
- Full UK driving licence and reliable personal transportation
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends when needed
Desirable (Not Required):
- Experience with solar or renewable energy solutions
- Familiarity with finance options and government schemes
- Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language
