Join one of the highest rated Renewable Energy businesses in the South West. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar PV Commercial Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and selling solar energy systems to commercial customers. Your role will involve educating customers about the benefits of solar energy and helping them make informed decisions about their current and ongoing energy requirements.
Duties:
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and determine the feasibility of solar installations
- Educate customers on the advantages of solar energy and the financial benefits of installing solar panels
- Provide accurate and detailed information about available solar products, including system specifications, pricing, and financing options
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers
- Create customized solar proposals (OpenSolar) based on customer requirements and site assessments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, government incentives, and regulations related to solar energy
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously
- Ability to effectively sell products and services, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic math skills for calculating energy savings, payback periods, and return on investment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer facing B2B sales is essential.
- Previous experience in solar energy sales is preferred but not required.
- Competent computer / ICT skills are required.
- A professional appearance and attitude is very important.
- Highly motivated, driven individual, that wants to earn very well and progress in their career.
