Solar Partner started installing solar in 2010, and has installed hundreds of residential and commercial systems large and small.
Solar Partner installs solar panels and battery storage technologies within a radius of 50 miles from Milton Keynes.
Solar Partner also maintains, repairs, services, updates, inspects, fault finds, checks, cleans, all solar PV and battery systems.
Solar Partner is expanding and is offering a full-time employed Apprentice position to carryout first fix installation for solar panel and battery systems. Work comprises fixing -
1) Mounting systems, solar panels & bird protection (on pitched & flat roofs)
2) DC & AC cabling
3) Inverters
4) Batteries and all associated meters and isolators
5) Other work when weather not suitable
No prior electrical training or qualifications are required. The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes –
Punctual – essential
Reliable – essential
Experience with hand tools – essential
Working at height on scaffolding / roofs – essential
Likes working outside during all weather – essential
Like physical/manual work – essential
Has own transport to get to jobs – essential
Can work on their own and in small team – essential
In house training will be provided by Solar Partner
