About the role

As the Social and Influencer manager, you will support the Head of Social and Content in delivering the strategy and execution for the O2 and Virgin Media social channels.
You’ll help build the profile of both brands with our audiences by crafting innovative, authentic, platform first content that aligns to our social media strategy and content pillars.
A social native, you should have your fingers on the pulse of the latest platform trends and use your knowledge and creativity to deliver content and collaborate with creators and influencers that resonates with our audience.
Experienced in collaborating with influencers, creators, and talent to achieve brand alignment.
To bring our social plans to life you will be working with key internal partners including sponsorship, brand, Priority, campaigns, PR, sustainability, and customer care teams. Externally you’ll be comfortable working with agencies, partners, Influencers and content creators to build and amplify our content.
And of course, you’ll understand how to measure the success of everything you or influencers create and evaluate against important metrics, ensuring that findings are built into future content and campaigns to help us constantly evolve and grow.

The must havesIn order to be considered, you will have the following experience;
- Experience working with influencers (selecting, briefing, communications and reporting)
- Experience working in social media for a medium to big brand or agency
- Excellent standard of written and verbal English. Able to create copy for social posts on the fly when required
- Experience assembling content for events/campaigns and publishing in real time
- Ability to work at pace handling multiple projects and any given time

- Experience in editing content
- Experience in paid social
- Influencer contracting/onboarding experience
- Social analytics experience
