Based in Taunton with agile working and regional travel

The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK. Purpose of the role & how you will contribute:


This is an exciting new role supporting the NFU South regional team. This role plays a crucial part in providing administrative support services to the regional team. The role is varied and ranges from booking meetings, supporting the arrangements for member engagement events, dealing with queries through to supporting regional social media activity by drafting and creating social media posts and responses.


The role is responsible for co-ordinating and processing member communications, using and maintaining the NFU’s CRM system, supporting internal and external meetings and events by taking minutes and ensuring that events are arranged and serviced effectively. This role also covers the Taunton Hub administration such as stocktakes and printing.


What you’ll bring:


You will have previous administration experience with a proven ability to be self-motivated, work proactively and manage own priorities. Strong communication skills are key in the role as you will be required to work with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will have an eye for detail with strong IT skills across a range of Microsoft Office packages.
