Social Care Trainer – Internal & External Delivery
East Anglia | £26,000 base salary + bonuses | Full-time, Permanent
OTE: £50,000-£60,000 + in Year 1

What You’ll Do
Internal Training Responsibilities
- Deliver CQC-compliant mandatory induction to new care staff
- Train teams across: Mental Health, Homecare, Live-in Care, Complex Care, and Extra Care
- Track weekly training compliance using a RAG (Red/Amber/Green) system
- Work closely with managers, recruiters, and attend weekly senior team meetings
Internal Training Compliance Bonus (Monthly – Tiered)
- 100-149 staff @ 100% compliance = £800/month
- 150-199 staff = £1,200/month
- 200+ staff = £2000/month
- Bonus paid at:
- 96–99% = 80% of full bonus
- 90–95% = 70% of full bonus
- Below 90% = no bonus
- At 150–200 staff, an assistant will be added — initially this is a solo role
Extra Induction Bonus
- £50 per new recruit completing 4 government-funded induction courses
- You will be handed 18 new recruits per month = £900/month bonus
- All new staff must complete these courses before starting – straightforward and trackable
External Training Responsibilities
- Deliver accredited training online or in person
- Promote and sell to external social care providers
- Earn 20% commission on all external training sold and delivered
- Full catalogue of 15 mandatory care sector courses used across:
- Care Homes
- Homecare Agencies
- NHS Teams
- Local Authority & Social Services
- 3 fully equipped training centres for in-person delivery or via Zoom/Teams
Important Bonus Eligibility Requirement
To receive any bonus (internal, claims, or external) in a given month, all of the following minimums must be met:
- Internal training compliance above 90%
- At least 1 external training course sold and delivered
- Claims processed for 12 or more new internal staff
This ensures balanced performance across the full scope of the role.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care
- AET/PTLLS or equivalent (L3 Award in Education and Training)
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence
- Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
- Experience working with Highfield Awarding Body is desirable
Skills
- Excellent time management and planning
- High IT competency (Google Forms, Sheets, Docs)
- Professional communicator able to work with senior teams and clients
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
What You’ll Get
- £26,000 basic salary
- Monthly bonuses (based on meeting eligibility requirements):
- Up to £1,800 for training compliance pm
- Up to £900 from induction completions (avg. 18 staff/month)
- 20% commission on external training sales
- OTE £45,000–£50,000+ in your first year
