As our social & brand executive, you will grow our brand presence across key social media platforms by delivering high quality content. In this role, you will shape how hampers.com tells its story on these channels. You will be a pivotal member of our growing in-house marketing team, collaborating closely with colleagues and external partners to amplify our premium brand in the digital space.


Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Creation and editing of compelling content across formats from short-form video to high-quality imagery and captivating copy.
  • Ensure every post tells a story that resonates with our audience, maintaining a consistent brand voice and heartfelt, premium tone.

Social Media Execution & Growth Support

  • Assist the Brand Manager on the organic social media strategy and deliver this strategy on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Grow our brand presence by increasing followers, engagement, and traffic from these channels, aligning all efforts with our premium brand identity and marketing goals.
  • Stay ahead of trends, algorithm changes and new social platform opportunities.

Data-Driven Insights

  • Leverage customer data, social analytics, and trends to inform content direction. Identify growth opportunities on emerging platforms or new social features.
  • Continuously monitor performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversion) and use insights to refine our approach and experiment with new channels.
  • Share learnings and best performing content internally to inspire future work

Community Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day presence on our social channels. Scheduling posts, actively engaging with our community, and responding to comments and messages in line with our brand’s tone of voice.
  • Foster a sense of community and loyalty among our followers.

Influencer & Partnership Management

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content partners who align with hampers.com’s values and aesthetics.
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations and user-generated content campaigns to broaden our reach and authenticity.

Brand Alignment & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaigns.
  • Uphold our brand guidelines and values in all social content, reinforcing our premium positioning and ensuring content is tailored to engage our core customer demographics and existing customer profiles.
  • Assist the Brand Manager with any PR & Affiliate marketing tasks, such as emailing journalists & organising sample requests, and any admin work required on our affiliate platform, Rakuten.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Social media and content creation, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and edit engaging short-form video and visual content
  • An eye for premium storytelling and how to bring brand values to life through content and strong copywriting.
  • Experience using Canva or other similar tools for asset creation.
  • Experience using social media management tools.
  • Experience working with influencers or managing user generated content would be desirable.
  • Solid understanding of analytics tools and are confident in reporting results
  • A qualification or experience with social paid ads would be desirable.
  • Creative mindset with strategic awareness, able to balance on-trend content with business goals
  • An understanding of the difference between consumers and buyers, recognising that gifting often involves purchasing products for others.
  • A committed team player who can support and work collaboratively with colleagues
