SMART Polisher
Salary: 28,000 to 29,500 depending on experience
45 hours per week. Monday to Friday. 6am to 4pm.

As a Smart Repair Polisher, you will play a key role in the final presentation of our vehicles, ensuring they are polished to a high cosmetic standard and ready for customer handover or showroom display. This hands-on role involves using specialist tools and materials to achieve a flawless finish, rectifying imperfections, and maintaining a consistently high level of quality.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous polishing experience and a keen eye for detail, looking to grow within a professional and supportive automotive environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Polish vehicles to a showroom-standard finish, preparing them for customer delivery or display.
- Use a variety of polishing tools, compounds, and materials appropriately and effectively.
- Carry out oven rectification work, flattening, and minor touch-ups to correct any paintwork imperfections.
- Inspect finished vehicles to ensure work meets cosmetic and quality standards, with no visible defects.
- Perform ad hoc duties within the smart repair or vehicle prep team as required.
- Take advantage of training and development opportunities to expand your skills and grow within the role.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in vehicle polishing, ideally within a bodyshop or smart repair environment.
- Solid understanding of vehicle body repair techniques and cosmetic finishing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Full UK/EU driving licence is essential.
- A good standard of general education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent; Level 2 qualifications desirable).
