Role Overview
We are looking for experienced floor staff who are confident, professional, and passionate about French food and wine. The ideal candidate will bring personality and expertise to every service, creating memorable experiences for our guests while working closely with a small, dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering attentive, high-quality service with a personal touch
- Taking orders and providing accurate, enthusiastic guidance on our menu and wine list
- Confidently recommending pairings and explaining French dishes to guests
- Managing a section with efficiency and professionalism during busy service
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment
- Supporting opening/closing procedures and smooth service flow
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen and bar teams
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of front-of-house experience in a bistro, brasserie, or similar setting
- Working knowledge of French cuisine and wines — including regional dishes and classic pairings
- Strong communication skills and a naturally hospitable approach
- Fluent English; French language skills a plus, but not required
- Well-presented, punctual, and calm under pressure
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
