Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. As a member of the bar staff, you will play a crucial role in the overall guest experience, showcasing your culinary skills and hospitality expertise.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks, while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of culinary techniques.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries or requests promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary skills is essential.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently.
- Effective time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
