Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drink orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for order processing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and managing cash flow.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
