We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including serving drinks, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
Duties
- Serve beverages and food to guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience.
- Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes while ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any queries or concerns promptly and courteously.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong upselling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
