Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service and ensuring that all dining needs are met. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance with any issues or requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for culinary arts and helping others enjoy their dining experience is highly valued.
