SEO & PPC Specialist
Location: Based in Morecambe, Lancashire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: £25,000–£35,000 negotiable depending on experience
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
Contract: Full-time, permanent
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and proactive SEO & PPC Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently improve search rankings and paid ad performance while also supporting with day-to-day website updates and light technical troubleshooting. You’ll be working across a wide range of client industries, delivering measurable results that drive traffic and leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve organic rankings through on-page and technical SEO
- Run and optimise Google Ads campaigns, including Sponsored Ads and Google Guaranteed
- Link ad campaigns to high-converting landing pages to increase lead generation
- Create and optimise one-page websites and internal landing pages for SEO
- Build additional content pages on WordPress websites for client campaigns
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to track performance and identify opportunities
- Make regular website updates such as new galleries, product uploads, or content edits
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic email and website-related issues (e.g. contact form errors, DNS record checks)
- Monitor and report on results, conversions, and performance improvements
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience improving SEO performance for WordPress websites
- Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns with real results
- Confident using WordPress to build and edit pages, upload content, and maintain plugins
- Familiar with key SEO and performance tools including:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Google PageSpeed Insights
- Screaming Frog
- Good understanding of DNS, email settings, and contact form integrations
- Comfortable updating site content such as images, product ranges, and general text
