Overview of Vacancy:
We seek an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to join our successful company in Brentford, Greater London. This hands-on role requires strong experience in assembling and troubleshooting electronics, with excellent long-term prospects for the right candidate.
We value technical expertise and education; therefore, our technicians are expected to achieve a minimum of an HNC qualification in Engineering (Electronics or Electrical Engineering).
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be key in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic products. This role requires previous hands-on experience in electronics assembly and a strong ability to diagnose and repair faults. Responsibilities will include:
- Assembling, soldering, and wiring electronic circuits and components to a high standard.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in electronic assemblies and PCBs.
- Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and technical drawings to complete assembly and repair work.
- Using various test equipment to verify functionality and identify issues.
- Working with hand tools, soldering irons, and rework stations for precise assembly and repairs.
- Ensuring all work meets quality control and safety standards.
- Collaborating with engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Once fully trained, the candidate is expected to work independently on complex assembly and troubleshooting tasks. The Production Manager will oversee their work.
