Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Team Leader to oversee our care home operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. This role requires effective communication and the ability to implement care plans while supervising a team of caregivers.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of care within the facility.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in senior care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
- Monitor daily operations, addressing any issues promptly to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Drive initiatives that promote resident engagement and well-being within the care home.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or senior care setting is essential.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with creating and managing care plans is highly desirable.
- Proficient IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
