The Role

As a Principal Sourcing Specialist you'll be at the forefront of Talent Acquisition, responsible for identifying and engaging top - tier candidates to meet our organisation's hiring needs.

Using your expertise in sourcing strategies and candidate outreach techniques, you'll search various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates who align with our client’s company values and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Engaging with Recruiters and Hiring Managers (as directed) to take detailed briefs on role requirements, contributing knowledge and best practice to add value to discussions.
  • Partner with recruiters to support sourcing efforts and ensure alignment with recruitment goals.
  • Active Application Management: review, evaluate, and manage active applications for assigned roles.
  • Proactively sourcing (identifying) candidates utilizing a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g. search engines, job board databases, social networking sites).
  • Developing own network of sector-specific candidates and utilize networking skills to identify and engage with talented candidates (i.e. referrals from referrals, cold-calling, etc.)
  • Engaging, screening and qualifying candidates to determine suitability and obtain required information (e.g. availability, permission to represent) in order to create long-lists.
  • Ensuring regular communication with Client Services team to understand on-going. requirements and to share progress of activity.
  • Maintaining agreed service levels and targets.
  • Participating and contributing within team meetings.

Skills & Experience

You'll need to demonstrate:

Must haves

  • Experience within the Banking or Financial services sector
  • Extensive experience in proactive sourcing, headhunting, and candidate attraction Expertise in multiple candidate sourcing channels (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising, database searching)
  • Market mapping experience
  • Strong background in financial services sector
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to handle senior stakeholders and demanding needs
  • Result-oriented approach to responsibilities
  • Analytical skills, data driven and inquisitive mindset with the ability to think out of the box on non-linear searches
  • Full professional proficiency in English both written and spoken
  • Ability to drive innovation and keep up to date with market trends related to recruitment
