Senior Support Worker

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily activities, encouraging independence and self-care.

- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Safely transport individuals to appointments or activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress towards goals.
- Use IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or in a childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage positively.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to transport individuals safely.
- Proficiency in IT applications for record-keeping and communication is advantageous.
- A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to support others.

Experience:
- Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- DBS Registered on the Update Service (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (required)
