Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Senior Night Porter with experience on working night shifts within a hotel setting to join our team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience during their stay. This position requires excellent customer service skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The role will be to over see all night time operations including reception & to supervise the porter with tasks required.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with any special requests.
- Reception tasks.
- Responsible for all security, health & safety of the hotel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and all public areas.
- Bar serving & close down duties.
- Responsible for all aspects of function room set - ups.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions as needed.
- Ensure that all guest areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor the condition of the property and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
