The Role:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Surveyor (Commercial Property) to join our 300-strong, multi-disciplinary, public-focused and integrated property team, where you can enjoy a purposeful career and contribute to the delivery of vital services to Hampshire’s 1.4 million residents.
What we're looking for:
You will be MRICS (or equivalent) qualified with substantial experience in estates management and property transactions. You will be a highly motivated individual, possessing strong project leadership and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be technically astute and have a strong business acumen.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Estates Surveyor in our Estates Management team, you will manage key property projects, providing expert advice and professional services to internal and external stakeholders, helping to deliver operational and strategic outcomes. You will manage property rationalisations, acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant matters, and deliver sustainable property management services, whilst working across a wide-ranging portfolio of buildings on over 1,000 sites. These include schools and care homes; offices and industrial premises; country parks and libraries; highway infrastructure and recycling facilities.
