Full time

We are seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Lead to join the World Check One team, part of the Nottingham-based Risk Intelligence Product Engineering organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager, this role is pivotal in driving delivery excellence across multiple Agile teams and workstreams. You will lead the planning and execution of complex delivery initiatives, ensuring delivery alignment with strategic objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
You will be responsible for orchestrating Agile delivery across several Scrum teams, managing dependencies, and influencing stakeholders across engineering, product, and operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping delivery practices, mentoring scrum teams, and ensuring successful outcomes across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Strategic Delivery Leadership: Own and drive delivery strategy across multiple Agile teams, ensuring alignment with product and technology roadmaps.
  • Agile Execution & Coaching: Lead Agile ceremonies and delivery planning, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across teams. Champion Agile best practices and coach delivery teams in scrum practices.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Manage inter-team dependencies, risks, and resource planning across multiple workstreams. Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, and service teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders (Delivery Managers, Product Managers and Engineering Managers), providing clear, concise updates on delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Delivery Excellence: Establish and maintain high-quality delivery metrics, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, blockers, and impediments. Escalate critical issues with actionable recommendations.
Essential Skills / Experience
  • Proven experience in a senior delivery lead or scrum master role within Agile software development environments, ideally across multiple teams or programs.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scaling approaches) and project delivery governance.
  • Experience managing complex dependencies, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, and reporting dashboards.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, drive outcomes, and foster team accountability.
