This is a fixed term full time vacancy for 12 months
Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Vascular Surgery. This post is based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow from the 3rd August 2022 for a twelve-month period. The post is designed to offer focused experience and development in vascular surgery and the opportunity to develop a subspecialty interest.
The post holder will attend theatre and clinics in several Glasgow hospitals with in-patient work almost exclusively in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Training opportunities will be made available to the successful candidate. This post has been approved for Training purposes by NES and is recognised for training.
To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a license to practice.
- Applicants who have not undertaken a UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the advertised post start date, will be asked to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST). The CREST form must be completed by a consultant who has worked with you for a minimum continuous period of three months whole-time equivalent wholly within the 3.5 years prior to the advertised post start date for which you are applying.
