About Us
Eurotube 2005 Ltd, trading as Global Tube Fabrication is a dynamic and growing tube bending and fabrication company based in Worcester. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our finance team and support day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage 50 Accounts
- Manage the purchase ledger: processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payment runs
- Handle the sales ledger: raising customer invoices, allocating receipts, and managing credit control where needed
- Reconcile bank accounts weekly and maintain accurate cash flow records
- Monitor and manage invoice financing, ensuring accurate uploads and payment allocations
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and manage payment schedules
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, liaising with external accountants when needed
- Maintain payroll records and assist with weekly or monthly submissions to the accountant
- Support HR and admin tasks, including managing holiday records, processing expense claims, and issuing PO numbers
- Work closely with the CEO and senior management to provide clear and timely financial information
- Support the production team with job costing and tracking of material costs if required
- Ad hoc finance tasks as directed by the CEO or external accountants
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role
- Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts (essential)
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise under pressure
- Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal staff
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential financial data
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Familiarity with invoice financing facilities
- Basic HR or administrative support experience
- AAT Level 3 or above (preferred but not essential)
