We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Bar Staff member to join our vibrant team in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Senior Bar Staff member, you will play a pivotal role in managing bar operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and preparation, and leading a team to success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks, while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimise waste.
- Train and mentor junior bar staff in food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist in planning and executing special events or promotions at the bar.
Skills
- Proven experience in a bar or hospitality setting, preferably within hotels or restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques related to beverage preparation.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
