Contract Type: 34 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, permanent.
Location: Paignton, Devon
Are you passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Lead to join our college team and champion high-quality support across a discrete curriculum area.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinate SEND provision within a specific curriculum area.
- Work closely with Tutors, Programme Coordinators, and Curriculum Managers to ensure learners receive tailored support.
- Supervise and guide a team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), promoting best practices and continuous development.
- Monitor and review support strategies to ensure they meet individual learner needs.
- Contribute to EHCP reviews, support plans, and progress tracking.
- Advocate for inclusive teaching and learning across the curriculum.

- Experience working with learners with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and inclusive practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Organised, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
- Relevant qualifications in education, SEND, or support work (desirable).
