Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work across year groups in an SEN school in the Kidderminster area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is confident supporting pupils at different stages of their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Support class teachers in delivering lessons across multiple year groups
- Assist with the planning and delivery of activities that align with the national curriculum
- Provide one-to-one and group support to ensure all pupils can access learning
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
- Help with classroom preparation, assessment, and pupil progress tracking
Required Experience
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
- A sound understanding of the national curriculum
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, team-oriented approach
- A passion for helping children learn and grow in a supportive environment
