Justteachers is working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Bradford, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional support to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support learning and development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents where appropriate.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience supporting children with SEN.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers.

Pay: £90.00-£115.00 per day
