St Andrews Day Nursery are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN practitioner to join our team of experienced Nursery Practitioners.
This position is currently for 5 hours a week, however this could change based on funding.
Your role will be to support a child within our setting on a 1-1 basis, encouraging them to meet milestones, interact with peers and following the child's individual plan. Focusing on the overall aspects of inclusion across the nursery.
You will be required to assist our Nursery SENCo in completing and providing SEN provision with individual plans and observations. You will have Keyworker and Early Years Nursery Practitioner Duties to provide learning opportunities and to monitor the child's learning and progress.
You must have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to demonstrate your understanding of the required assessments and plans needed to secure learning and development targets for children under the age of 5.
You will work along side our experienced practitioners and our management team, embedding and reassessing our SEND approaches.
You will be expected to liaise with professionals, parents and practitioners to achieve the best possible results for our children and families.
The role is based on part time hours (Term Time Only)
-Tuesday 2.5 hours, between the hours of 8 and 12:45
Wednesday, 2.5 hours, between the hours of 8 and 12:45
- SEN Experience (Essential)
- Childcare Qualification- Level 2/3 (Preferred)

Pay: £12.22-£12.80 per hour
