WANTED: Early Years 1:1 Child Practitioner - SEN Support

This is an enormously satisfying role with the opportunity to work with one child to provide individual support. This role is to support a child to be able to access the curriculum and understand the child’s individual needs working alongside the child’s support plan. This may include exercises provided by outside agencies, such as speech and language and interventions including bucket time.
You will need:
- A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
- Level 2/3 Early Years Educator or equivalent childcare qualification
- Preschool room experience
- Experience of working with children with SEN.
Your role as 1:1 Child Practitioner will include:
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
- Ensuring health, safety and well being of the children at all times.
- Working closely with the SENCo and wider team to implement tailored strategies
- Delivering engaging and appropriate activities in line with framework and individual needs of the child.
- Supporting communication, sensory, and emotional development.
- Contributing to assessment, progress tracking, and parent updates.
