Position Summary
Why join our team?You will be joining SCM team for Display division. We are very proud that SCM team is playing a key role in Samsung global operations, driving end-to-end supply chain integration from suppliers to end-users. Our goal is to improve/execute operations to high standards in order to integrate and coordinate the functions, activities, transactions, and people across the value chain from supplier to manufacturer to distributor to end user.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
- Lead S&OP meetings with stakeholders.
- Manage 6-month demand forecasts and stock allocation/delivery.
- cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Sales and Product Management teams, to drive demand planning accuracy.
- Identify operational issues, set improvement plans, and monitor KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory, etc.).
- Analyze market trends and translate into demand planning.
- Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly sales projections.
- Provide customer updates on back orders and delivery schedules.
- Handle business development seeding orders.
Your key people management responsibilities – Leading Others
- Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.
- Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
- Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
- Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates.
- Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.
- Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.
- To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.
