Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Sales Order Processor - Purchaser to be part of our dynamic and innovative Company that is making a real difference in the world of Fume and Dust Extraction Technology. As a Team Player you will collaborate with individuals who share a passion, commitment and excellence to customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders accurately and promptly. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of our order fulfilment process.
Duties
- Receive, review and process customer orders via email, web or internal systems with accuracy and completeness. Ensuring all information is correct and up to date
- Stock purchasing on Suppliers
- Coordinate with inventory management, warehouse, logistics and suppliers to confirm product availability and manage stock levels.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of orders processed, returns, and exchanges.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to orders in a timely manner.
- Support the team in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficient in using order processing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Sage and Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills to address order-related challenges effectively.
- 1 to 2 years experience in an order processing or administrative role, data entry or related field.
- A Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Additional Skills
- Experience in E-Commerce, Manufacturing or Distribution Industries
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Knowledge of Shipping and Logistics processes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
