Summary
We are recruiting for a Sales and Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team . For this role, we require a highly organised individual to support our accounts department.
Role and Responsibilities
- Process supplier parts and overhead invoices, investigating any discrepancies
- Reconcile supplier statements weekly to ensure accuracy and up-to-date records
- Produce the weekly supplier payment run
- Perform cash book reconciliations
- Daily credit card reconciliations
- Post and maintain tidy Sales Ledger accounts
- Chase Sales Ledger debts
- Provide holiday cover for other accounts staff as needed
Hours
Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00. (Part time negotiable).
About you
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Experience with finance systems and good Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong administration skills plus Microsoft at an intermediate level
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proactive approach to resolving issues and willingness to take initiative
