This role makes use of the telephone including working with direct and indirect eCommerce platforms to achieve account penetration and growth. Effectively selling and supporting in rooflight sales to new and existing companies, you will be tasked to grow sales by working within defined parameters. Working in conjunction with our existing Sales Coordinator you will take full responsibility for asking the correct questions to engage customers, whilst listening to their needs with an objective to generate sales.
About The Role
- Assist and work with key members of the team to ensure our key eCommerce accounts receive a world class service.
- Provide cover in absence of existing Sales Coordinator.
- Investigate any errors and ensure corrective actions have been implemented.
- Expedite the resolution of customer orders, problems, and complaints.
- Support our sales teams by identifying new sales opportunities across the product range.
- Promote, sell, and secure orders by communicating the features and benefits of our products and services to new and existing contacts and assist them in selecting those products best suited to their needs.
- Making ‘professional telephone calls’, developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations to all necessary contacts as required.
- Coordinating your sales effort with the company’s marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, other sales, and technical service functions.
- Analysing the customers buying potential to determine the value of existing and prospective sales to Brett Martin Daylight Systems.
- Whilst working with Senior Managers and departments of the wider group create clear and analytical report data on specific eCommerce platforms including the company’s own online platform.
Required Criteria
- Experience and understanding of eCommerce sales.
- Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for problem-solving with an ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
- Must be results-orientated.
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Good IT skills
- Strong analytical/data set skills
Desired Criteria
- Good understanding of SEO and PPC
- Experienced within Social Media platforms through deployment of key marketing and advertising for business.
- Understanding of EDI
