We’re looking for a commercially savvy Sales & Account Manager to drive new growth and manage key client relationships across our B2B platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a proven track record in sales, with the ability to analyse market trends and communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams. This role requires a proactive approach to managing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact with a view to build long-term relationships, understand evolving client needs, and ensure renewal and expansion opportunities.
- Analyse client needs and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Understand energy pain points and tailor solutions using our platform’s analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align strategies and deliver exceptional service. Feed insights back to product and technical teams to help shape features and onboarding success.
- Utilise our CRM for tracking account activities, managing pipelines, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Monitor account performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Driving new sales: Identify, qualify, and close deals with B2B clients across industries like manufacturing, property, retail, and education.
Experience
- Proven experience in account management or a related field, with a strong focus on sales.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing client relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills, enabling the identification of trends and actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of B2B sales and/or account management in SaaS, energy, utilities, or ESG sectors.
- Confident in a consultative sales approach, with the ability to explain technical benefits in business terms.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with the need to visit clients on site when required and join the team in London once a month
- Bonus: Knowledge of energy metering, building management systems, or carbon reporting frameworks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,808.37-£38,250.64 per year
