Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure that all public areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; hospitality experience is highly valued.
- Janitorial experience is an advantage, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to guests.
