Room Leader – Nursery
Location: W4 4PH
Job Type: Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week
Salary: £30,000 (Negotiable DOE)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join our vibrant nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in children’s early years development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire your room team to provide exceptional care and learning opportunities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and track children’s progress, keeping accurate records and reports
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and positive environment
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (essential)
- Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
