Job Purpose
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Roofing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong roofing knowledge, a proactive approach, and the ability to lead by example. Your primary responsibility will be supervising roofing works to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, while motivating the team and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate roofing teams across multiple residential sites.
- Ensure all flat and pitched roofing works are carried out to specification, within deadlines, and to the highest quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor site safety, enforce health & safety protocols.
- Manage material deliveries, stock control, and site housekeeping.
- Report daily progress and site issues to the director.
- Provide on-site training, mentoring, and support to roofers and labourers.
- Assist with hands-on roofing tasks when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flat and pitched roofing.
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a construction or roofing setting.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, tools, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent attitude and work ethic – reliability and positivity are a must.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both clients and crew.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Valid CSCS card and SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (preferred but not essential – training can be provided).

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
