We're seeking a Retrofit Technical Supervisor to help lead the successful delivery of retrofit projects, ensuring works are completed to the highest standards and meet all relevant regulations.
This is a field-based role where you’ll act as the key technical link between site teams and coordination staff, inspecting works, promoting best practices, and helping deliver real improvements to homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections before and after the installation of Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs)
- Ensure all work complies with PAS 2035 and relevant Building Regulations
- Monitor and report on quality, safety, and effectiveness of retrofit measures (e.g., insulation, heating systems, ventilation)
- Maintain photographic and written documentation for compliance and funding audits
- Identify and follow up on defects or non-conformities with site teams and subcontractors
- Liaise with delivery and coordination teams to maintain quality and consistency
- Support the improvement of inspection processes and standards
- Keep internal systems updated with accurate and timely data
- Escalate and help resolve complex technical issues
What You’ll Bring
- Strong technical and on-site experience in building construction and retrofit
- Knowledge of EEMs and construction detailing
- Familiarity with Building Regulations (Parts L, F, C, and O)
- Solid understanding of PAS 2035, ECO4, SHDF, and HUG frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/inspection software
- Detail-focused and proactive with excellent communication and organisation skills
Essential Requirements
- SSSTS Certification
- Retrofit Assessor and/or Domestic Energy Assessor Certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
