As a Sales Floor Supervisor you will oversee the operations of the sales floor ensuring smooth operations and ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
You will manage and motivate staff, monitor performance ensuring everyone is working to their highest standard and handle customer issues.
Key responsibilities include leading and training the team, maintaining inventory and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities of a Sales Floor Supervisor:
- Ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and team members;
- Ensuring excellent Customer Service is provided by all team members;
- Handling customer enquiries, complaints and resolving issues promptly;
- Training team members;
- Assigning & prioritising tasks;
- Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback to staff & management;
- Addressing employee concerns and conflicts;
- Ensuring Operational Efficiency;
- Ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organised and clean;
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with other departments for restocking;
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Carrying out opening and closing procedures.
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Have experience in a retail service environment in a position of supervisor;
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff;
- Ability to motivate others
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings & weekends
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£14.55 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
