Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
- Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise and services
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing store layout
- Handle transactions accurately using the till and manage cash effectively
- Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Organise stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work atmosphere
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proven organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and stockroom
- Experience in merchandising is an advantage but not essential
- A friendly disposition with a genuine interest in helping customers
