About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic highway inspector in our Highway Maintenance and Drainage Team
You will be involved in inspecting and managing the Councils Highway Assets. Working with supply chain partners you will be identifying, instructing and supervising reactive maintenance works on roads, cycleways and footways.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine safety and reactive inspections across the highway network.
Instruct and supervise highway maintenance works.
Manage customer enquiries and associated interactions.
Assist with defending public liability insurance claims.
About You
Ideally you will have experience of working in the highway industry together with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Enjoy working outdoors and liaising with third parties and contractor crews to deliver a high-class service.
