Virtua UK delivers bespoke communications infrastructure services across several key areas: telecoms, broadcast, data, and wireless industries. Our end-to-end capabilities include project management, design, installation, testing, and engineering integration.
Recruitment
- Focal point of all recruitment carried out by Virtua UK. This will be a variety of PAYE and day rate contract labour across different fixed and wireless telecommunication and IT projects.
- To drive efficiencies and ensure Virtua UK is not reliant on external recruitment companies.
- Liaise with Hiring Managers to understand the role requirement.
- Create and post our roles on recruitment platforms and social media.
- Diary management of candidates and Hiring Managers.
- Arrange, Host and lead interviews.
- Keep internal data bases up to date to build a candidate database.
- Report on recruitment activities on a bi-weekly basis
- Headhunting for candidates
Resource Management
- Strategically manage the allocation and optimization of organizational resources
- Forecast future resource needs in collaboration with leadership and project managers.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of available internal and external resources.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure the right resources are deployed effectively across departments and initiatives.
- Implement tools and processes to track and report on resource utilization and efficiency
Partnership Management
- Virtua UK is reliant on successful partnerships with key subcontract suppliers. This role holder will need to ensure that we have enough partners to fulfil our customer needs. This will be through management of existing relationships and forging new ones
- Manage existing vendors by developing strategic relationships to ensure forecasted margin is improved or achieved.
- Find and onboard new vendors in line with new projects and the locations of works
- Manage desktop audits and all supplier compliance to ensure documentation and certification is current
- Arrange bi annual supplier meeting with our largest partners to monitor performance, identify areas of improvement or opportunity and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Acting as point of escalation to suppliers
