Location- Birmingham/ Hybrid

Salary : up to £40,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Business Partner to lead end-to-end hiring across key areas of our business. Youll work closely with hiring managers to deliver a seamless candidate experience, proactively source talent (ideally using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter), and contribute to improving our recruitment processes and strategy. Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead the recruitment and selection process for specifically allocated parts of our business, working with senior management and providing an excellent candidate experience
  • Work with recruiting managers to ensure job descriptions are prepared and maintained in line with Fletchers guidance and good practice
  • Support and advise hiring managers with designing adverts, reviewing CVs, creating interview questions and providing a positive candidate experience
  • Upload vacancies to and manage applications within Fletchers Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Manage online recruitment portals (including job centre, job boards etc)
  • Support our relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Manage our Careers website, ensuring content is up to date and relevant to the candidates we are looking to attract
  • Produce reports on recruitment statistics from internal and external data sources
  • Manage and monitor internal tracking documents
  • Ensure the interview process runs smoothly and effectively for candidates and recruiting managers
  • Communicate with candidates to advise them of progress and outcomes of applications at each stage, including making offers and ensuring they are followed up appropriately
  • Attend events such as recruitment fairs and careers events to represent Fletchers as a good employer
  • Support other members of the Recruitment team when required

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Deep knowledge and experience of leading professional recruitment processes, gained in a professional services environment and ideally in the legal sector
  • Experience of proactively sourcing potential candidates and using excellent networking skills to promote job opportunities (ideally with LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Experience of building networks to support effective resourcing and recruitment, ideally within the legal sector and working directly with lawyers
  • Experience of contributing to improvements to processes and practices in a recruitment team
  • Demonstrable experience of providing a positive candidate experience in a high-volume recruitment team
  • Strong administrative skills, gained in a Recruitment or HR environment
  • Excellent people and customer service skills being able to build positive relationships with a diverse range of applicants and people right across the business
  • Positive, can-do approach with a proactive attitude to work
  • Committed team member who looks to support and develop their colleagues
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of writing and uploading text/advertisements to recruitment websites
  • Ability to record and analyse data accurately and present findings
  • Ability to work independently and challenge our current practices where necessary
