Receptionist – Yorkshire Spa Retreat
Role Specifics
Working on a Luxury Spa Retreat, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive 5-star service and standards throughout their stay. The successful candidate will be able to process and allocate bookings. Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Service
- Maximising return business through optimum customer satisfaction levels
- Working with the Cleaning Team and Maintenance Manager to ensure the accommodation is prepared to the highest standards
- Ensuring holiday makers experience 5-star check ins
- Dealing with any customer complaints in a professional and understanding manner, using initiative to resolve situations at the time and exceed satisfaction levels
- Maintaining a proactive attitude in promoting the park to all visitors
- Working with our Guest Experience Driver to ensure a 5-star service to our guests and Owners across our chauffeur service and Experience Days (including E-Bike Hire)
- To comply and work within the Company’s Health & Safety Policies
- Ensuring Company policies and procedures are followed
Reception
- Getting keys and check in packs prepared, including bookings for The Spa and The Dome Bar & Restaurant.
- Managing the holiday booking system and Owner Portal to ensure all holidays and booking requests are documented correctly
- Ensuring incoming telephone calls are answered promptly and efficiently
- The reception area is always presented to a 5-star standard
- Coordinating all hire fleet repair jobs, making sure they are dealt with efficiently and customers are communicated with regards to them
Essential Requirements
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- A friendly and approachable personality, including good communication skills relating to team and public alike
- Self-motivated and committed to delivering excellent service
- Ability to use own initiative and being proactive
- 5-star personal presentation
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Office including Excel and Word as well as the ability to learn new databases and booking systems
- Own transport
Desirable Requirements
- First Aid Qualification
- DBS Check
- Experience of Health and Safety Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Receptionist/Admin role
Other Information
- Contract Type: This is a part-time permanent position, on the receipt of successful references & completion of a 3-month probationary period.
- Hourly rate: £12.25 per hour
- Hours: This role is based on a 24 hour work week over 3 days. However, there is potential for this to increase to up to 32 hours per week over 4 days, depending on business demand and future growth. This will include working weekends
