VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners. VIVO embodies both experience and innovation.

What we do

We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. We drive forward improvements for them to ensure the service they receive, whether reactive repairs or a major project, is completed safely and on time. In order to achieve this, we have 4 core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative. These are at the heart of everything we do.

Contract Quality Specialist

Location: Flexible with hybrid working and regular travel across the South East and South West
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive

Drive Quality. Inspire Improvement. Make a Difference.

Are you passionate about quality, detail, and continuous improvement? Are you ready to make a real impact across one of the UK’s most important defence accommodation contracts? If you're experienced in inspections, training, and assurance—or you're ready to step into a role where you can influence the standards and systems that shape performance—then we want to hear from you.

We're looking for a Contract Quality Specialist (CQS) to join our dedicated team. Reporting directly to the Contract Quality Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of promoting quality across our operations. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and our supply chain to ensure all work meets contractual and regulatory requirements, and that best practice becomes standard practice.

The Role

You’ll be a visible, knowledgeable presence across our Accommodation Contracts, supporting the delivery of our Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with our Contract Quality Plan. Whether you're conducting inspections, analysing data, or delivering training, your goal will be to embed a culture of assurance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Your work will help shape how we meet our obligations, respond to quality trends, and continually enhance our service. This is a hands-on role that combines people engagement, data analysis, and a sharp eye for process improvement. You’ll also be supported by the wider Quality & Assurance functions of our parent companies, ENGIE and Serco.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting inspections and assurance sampling across accommodation sites
  • Delivering training on quality processes and systems to operational teams and subcontractors
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the Contract Quality Plan
  • Analysing trends and supporting actions around audits, inspections, and customer feedback
  • Producing accurate, timely assurance reports and maintaining quality records in our CAFM system
  • Promoting continuous improvement and supporting key performance indicators across the business
  • Collaborating with operations teams, clients, and supply chain partners to drive high standards
  • Supporting regular CPD and staying up to date with industry best practice

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who communicates well, thinks critically, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You should be confident using Microsoft Excel, comfortable training others, and capable of managing your time across multiple responsibilities and locations.

You’ll also need:

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the South East and South West
  • Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and documentation
  • Experience providing training and guidance in a professional setting
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a focus on results

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Facilities Management experience
  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal/Lead Auditor qualification
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Practitioner or Chartered membership of the CQI
  • Advanced Excel skills

Why Join Us?

This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a tangible difference. You’ll join a collaborative and committed team within VIVO Defence Services, where quality isn’t just a target—it’s a mindset. We’re part of a growing joint venture with real investment in people, systems, and standards. If you’re ready to step into a career where your work directly contributes to operational excellence, we’d love to welcome you aboard.

Let’s set the standard. Together.
