Constable Country Childcare are seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to work at our private nursery based in Stutton within the baby room. We will consider term-time applicants, please state this on your application.
Days for this position will be; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.00am to 6.00pm. The Charity offer a 50% discount for staff on any childcare costs whilst working.
If you have not been working within the childcare sector for 6 months or more and are considering returning to the profession, you will be eligible to apply for the government incentive scheme of £1000. Applicants will receive £1000 direct to their bank account once they have been in post for 6 months.

Salary is generous and dependent upon skills and experience.
- You must hold a recognised Level 2 or 3 (or above) Childcare qualification.
- Safeguarding certificate (dated within 3 years) is desirable.
- Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene are desirable.

- Previous experience of caring for children aged 0-5
- An understanding of how children learn, and the early learning goals
- A passion to provide high quality childcare
- A positive approach to your own professional development
- Good written and verbal skills - for report writing, maintaining written records and sharing information with parents and colleagues.

- An ability to plan and prepare exciting and challenging activities for individual children and for groups of children; to promote their learning
