Legacie Group are one of the UK’s largest privately owned real estate investment & development companies, operating across residential, commercial & hospitality sectors. Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced HR Assistant.
Purpose
- The HR Assistant will be a key support to the Head of HR, supporting with all essential HR administration.
- This role will build and maintain effective internal relationships creating a supportive and informative people-centred HR function.
General Duties
- Primary responsibilities, tasks and duties (this list is not exhaustive):
- Provide administration support in regard to people processes such as; new starters/leavers, induction, probation reviews, offers and contracts and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance and to provide data to payroll and updating new starter/payroll changes tracker.
- Updating personnel files and drafting employee letters.
- Provide support for managers and Head of HR, including organising meetings, taking notes at disciplinary/grievance/absence review meetings as required
- Benefits administration for medical schemes, pension, DIS and EAP - renewals and managing joiners/leavers.
- Supporting and managing the induction process and welcome induction.
- Checking in' on new starters and completing leaver exit interviews.
- Promoting EAP, wellbeing, mental health and other reminders for staff
- Manage and control the Attendance Management system (e-days) for new starters, leavers, changes, user training, ensuring the business fully utilizes the system
- Training administration, updating/maintaining the site training matrix (supporting Head of H&S), coordinating group L&D, booking and arranging training and coordinating annual development plans. Coordinating i-hasco management.
- Provide basic advice on holidays, sickness policy etc.
- Support Head of HR and line managers with the annual performance appraisal process and annual objective setting process ensuring 100% completion.
- Hours - 3 days per week - preferably Mon, Wed & Fri - although not essential.
Experience / Qualifications
- Previous recruitment, HR administration experience and basic payroll knowledge is essential
- Preferably CPP and/or CIPD part qualified or working towards (or equivalent qualification)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
