The Role
Due to retirement, we are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Purchase & Sales Ledger Administrator to join our team. This vital role will be responsible for the administration of the purchase and sales ledger accounts across our group of companies.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger:
- Monitor and deal with incoming emails
- Process purchase invoices and credit notes
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Resolve supplier queries
- Process supplier payments
- Process bank transactions
Sales Ledger:
- Monitor and deal with incoming emails
- Generate and send customer invoices
- Process incoming customer payments
- Produce customer account statements
- Chase overdue customer accounts
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience using Sage 50 Accounts
- Experience in purchase and sales ledger administration and an understanding of accounting processes
- Confidence in inputting data, processing bank transactions, and resolving account queries
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A positive attitude and friendly approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly motivated
